Saint Peter's Prep Students Achieve Academic Honors

James C. DeAngelo, '85, principal of Saint Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City, announced that  students were awarded Honor Pins for the school year 2012-2013 as well as Gold and Silver medals in various subjects.  Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and no grade lower than a B received pins.  The following local residents were recognized:

Cranford:  Daniel Apicella, '14, Sean Conheeney, '14, Richard Larkin, '14, Zachary Power, '14, Robert Puhak, '16, and James Swetman, '16, earned Honor Pins.  Richard Larkin won the Gold Medal in Science.  Daniel Apicella was elected to Student Government.

Mountainside:  Andrew Dellechiaie, '15, earned an Honor Pin.

Westfield:  Nicholas Angeli,'14.  Conor Finn, '14, Emmet Flanigan, '14, Conor Gelson, '14, Christopher Lee, '15, Robert Brancatella, '16, William Fitzpatrick, '16, John Lovito, '16, Patrick Sweeney, '16, and James Tanella, '16, won Honor Pins.  Fitzpatrick won the Gold Medal in Mathematics and Flanigan won the Gold Medal in Spanish III.  Fitzpatrick was also elected to Student Government.
