Upcoming GIANT BOOK SALE at St. Paul’s in Westfield Needs Your Book Donations

It’s that time again!  St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Westfield is seeking book donations for its 26th annual Giant Book Sale.  Sponsored by the Friends of Music at St. Paul’s, this year’s sale starts on Sunday, November 3rd (noon-5pm), continues on Monday, November 4th (9am-9pm), and closes on Tuesday, November 5 (Bag Day, 9am-noon).  Especially needed are hardback and paperback fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, audio books, videos, computer software, compact discs, records, DVDs, sheet music, puzzles and children’s books.  The church is unable to accept donations of textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias or Reader’s Digest condensed books.

If possible, please bag and label your donations by category.

You may drop off your donations daily starting on Friday, October 18.  An outdoor pod unit will be available for book drop-off in the church parking lot (use the Euclid Avenue entrance).  Weekday donations, Monday through Friday, are accepted after 3:00 pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays through November 2nd.

The Friends of Music at St. Paul’s wish to thank all book donors and buyers who have made this annual Giant Book Sale a success for the past 25 years.  We are especially grateful for your generous participation in 2012, when Super Storm Sandy put a stop to the sale on the first weekend in November.  The sale had to be rescheduled for December 9-11, 2012.  Despite Sandy-related difficulties, however, Sale devotees continued to donate and we had a record turn-out in December.
