On Sunday, February 16th from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, the Westfield Area Y will host a 4 vs. 4 Indoor Soccer Cup to benefit the Strong Kids Campaign at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.
The event is for boys and girls ages 8-14 years old, with a maximum of seven players per team. Games will be 20 minutes long and three games are guaranteed. All proceeds will support the Y’s Strong Kids Campaign which ensures that no one who lives in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside and is experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for the inability to pay for Y programs or memberships.
The event is open to members and non-members for a $20 per player contribution or $100 contribution per team. A printable team registration form and waiver for this event can be found online at www.westfieldynj.org and must be submitted to the Welcome Center at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield by Friday, February 7th.
