GREAT IDEAS FOR MAKING INDIVIDUAL MEALS AT WESTFIELD AREA Y’S FREE LUNCH AND LEARN

The Westfield Area Y will host a free lecture on Wednesday, January 15th from 12:30 pm-2:00 pm in the Kellogg Room at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield. The topic “Healthy Meal Options for One,” will be led by Registered Dietitian, Heather Marino of ShopRite of Garwood, who will share ideas for making great tasting, healthy individual meals, discuss budget-friendly tips to eating healthy, what to stock your pantry with to make cooking easier, how to make use of leftovers, food safety for storing/defrosting and healthier choices from each food group.

This event is free and available to all. Please bring a bag lunch. Register in advance by January 10th in-person at the Welcome Center of the Main Y Facility, by phone at 908-233-2700 or online if you are a Westfield Area Y member. Questions?
