DO MORE BE MORE THIS FALL AT THE WESTFIELD AREA Y

Summer fun doesn’t have to stop!  The Westfield Area Y’s Fall session program registration begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 15th for Gold and Silver members and at 7:30 am, Monday August 19th for Program and Non-Members.  The Fall 1 Session runs from September 3rd-October 26th. 

New classes this fall include: Body Barre, Water Yoga, Parent/Child Zumba, Lacrosse, Get Fight Fit and Intro to Free Weight Room for women.

Special Health Groups this fall include:  Cancer Exercise Program; Delay the Disease:  Exercise to Fight Parkinson’s Symptoms; Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program; Aquatics for People with Disabilities; Project Healthy Bones; Special Population Training and Fitchecks; and Exercise for Everyone Plus.

There is something for everyone this fall.  Active Adults can come together and discuss current and classic literature or play bridge together.  NEW this fall is Beginning Painting for Adults in which every participant will discover the artist within them. 

The Y continues to offer swim lessons and competitive swim teams.

If you need help with childcare, the Y offers a wide selection of childcare options to accommodate your needs.  With programs in Westfield, Mountainside, Garwood, and Cranford, the Y is convenient and flexible to your busy schedule.  

The Westfield Area Y also offers a wide variety of youth sports programs ranging from flag football, climbing and soccer to Tae Kwon Do and t-ball.  Participants in the Y’s Flyers Cross Country Track Club learn proper distance running technique and build cardiovascular endurance through interval training, games and drills.
