Congregation Beth Israel Prepares Gift Bags for Purim
On Sunday, March 2, volunteers from the Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains prepared gift bags with groggers, treats and traditional hamentashen cookies to be delivered to the entire congregation before the Jewish holiday of Purim. This year’s gift bags featured reusable totes with Congregation Beth Israel’s logo.
Congregation Beth Israel’s Sisterhood also donated Purim gift bags and additional pounds of hamentashen to residents of AristaCare at Cedar Oaks, a nursing home in South Plainfield.
