New this year, a special live performance at 2:00 pm of “Austin the Unstoppable,” presented by the George Street Playhouse. This show is a fun, upbeat musical engaging children in the benefits of a healthy diet and exercise by celebrating how positive change can occur through the power of love, hard work and by supporting healthy habits for kids.

Unhealthy eating and physical inactivity are associated with an increased risk of a number of chronic health conditions including obesity. The percentage of young people who are overweight has tripled over the last 25 years. Studies have shown that children who develop healthy exercise and eating habits while they are young are more likely to continue to lead healthy lifestyles through adulthood.
