College Planning Seminar: Next door, in Cranford, visit a college-planning seminar at Little Scoops with Edward jones. Learn about college saving plans, such as the benefits of a 529. Kids receive free ice cream. Call Michael Flynn at 908-272-2827 to RSVP. Seminar begins at 6 p.m.

Girls Night Out: Registration is open for Girls Night Out in Westfield on Oct. 17.  The event sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation features shopping, relaxing, complimentary refreshments, demonstrations and more. Register online, here.
