The annual Westfield Stamp Show will take place on Saturday, March2, 2013 in the Municipal Center at 425 East Broad Street, Westfield. The show will feature a six dealer bourse, forty frames of exhibits, a show cover with a special show cancel remembering the Battle at Gettysberg, a US Post Office booth and a very special lecture on Civil War Philately be recognized expert Par Kaufmann at 2:00 p.m. Seats limited, so come early.

More About Westfield Municipal Building
The Municipal Building, across from Mindowaskin Park on East Broad Street, is the seat of town government. The building houses the mayor's office, the Council Chamber/Courtroom and offices for the following departments: Town Administrator, Chief Financial Officer, Tax Collector, Tax Assessor, Municipal Court, Town Clerk, Recreation, Human Services, Health and Police. The building also houses a community room.

Admission and parking are free. This will be the 51st annual show the Club has held.
The show will include a six dealer bourse plus the USPS and the annual exhibit competition among club members. More than 600 pages of stamps and postal history items from around the world will be on display. The exhibits to be shown are the work of those who are new to the field as well as from those who have shown their work at the international level. The exhibits will be evaluated by American Philatelic Society accredited judges, Steve Washburne and Bill Schultz, and attendees are invited to vote for the most popular exhibit.
The theme of the show will be the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. In keeping with the theme, Patricia A. Kaufmann, renowned Confederate States expert, will give a presentation at 2 PM on “Civil War Philately.” Trish and Larry Hunt will also display sections of their Civil War collections.
The U.S. Postal Service will operate a substation at the show and have a special show cancel available. A limited quantity of specially produced cachet envelopes with the Gettysburg theme will also be available.
As an added treat, Westfield artist Audrey Yankielun will display a number of her clothing and accessory pieces made from cancelled stamps. Her creations have garnered national attention and include a child’s sundress, a vest, a purse, and other pieces made entirely with cancelled stamps. You have to see it to believe it!
