 hs in the College Admissions Process&rdquo\; and &ldquo\;How to Write a 
 Personal Narrative Memoir&rdquo\; will be presented at the Westfield Mem
 orial Library on Thursday\, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday\, March 9 
 at 2:00 p.m. respectively. The library is located at 550 East Broad Stre
 et.\n&nbsp\;\nLisa Bleich\, President of College Bound Mentor\, LLC\, wi
 ll discuss how the college admissions process has become increasingly co
 mpetitive\, and how students who understand their strengths and focus on
  finding the best &ldquo\;fit&rdquo\; will have a clear advantage in the
  admission process.\n&nbsp\;\nLouis Alexander\, author of Echoes from a 
 Small Country Town\, will discuss how to write your own memoir. He will 
 show participants the step-by-step procedures to get started and become 
 self-published.\n&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;Every person has a story to tell! Will
  your children or grandchildren really know who you are?&rdquo\; he said
 . &ldquo\;You do not have to be a famous person or an author to write a 
 memoir. It can be a wonderful legacy to leave to family members.&rdquo\;
 \n&nbsp\;\nMr. Alexander&rsquo\;s memoir describes his youth while growi
 ng up in the '30s and '40s in a small town on Lake George. Demonstrating
  a genuine love and appreciation of the area and its people\, he shares 
 his experiences as the son of parents who owned and ran a lakeside resor
 t with gas station\, rental cabins and boats. He currently serves as an 
 Adjunct Professor of Education at Rutgers and Fairleigh Dickinson Univer
 sities.\n&nbsp\;\nBoth programs are free and open to Westfield Memorial 
 Library and MURAL cardholders. MURAL cardholders belong to libraries tha
