DESCRIPTION:Come and visit this beautiful house and have a tour of the va
 rying exhibits from Westfield. The Westfield Historical Society was foun
 ded in 1968 and has collected an array of artifacts\, documents and memo
 rabilia in order to record our heritage for future generations. A focus 
 is placed on the people and places of this Colonial town that was settle
 d in 1720 as part of the "West Fields" of Elizabethtown.\nThe house itse
 lf is on the National and State Register of Historic Places. The grounds
  include the Claire Brownell Memorial Wildflower Garden\, maintained by 
 the Rake and Hoe Club of Westfield. The Garden Club of Westfield install
 ed and maintains plantings which enchance the front of the property.
