Theta Phi Omega Hosts Local Talent During Annual Black History Celebration

(Plainfield, NJ). The Annual Black History Celebration sponsored by the Theta Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in conjunction with Ivy Visions Inc. will be held on Sunday February 24, 2013. The event will begin promptly at 3pm at Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church, located at 716 Watchung Avenue in Plainfield. This is a free event, open to the general public and refreshments will be served. It promises to feature a great range of talented artists, who are gifted in a wide variety of media. This annual celebration is supported by a grant from the New Jersey Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts. The grant is administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
