 Reform Responsa: How Jewish Tradition Responds to Today&rsquo\;s Issues.

 ch and Learn on Saturday\, March 9\, on &ldquo\;Playing God: Jewish Law 
 and Genetic Engineering.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; Both events are open to all.&nbs
 p\; The $5 dairy lunch from Deli King of Linden on Saturday requires pre

 sh Learning.\nRabbi Mark Washofsky\, PhD\, is the Solomon B. Freehof Pro
 fessor of Jewish Law at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religio
 n (HUC) in Cincinnati.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; He specializes in the literature of
  Jewish law and the application of legal theory to the understanding of 
 the Jewish legal process. His publications deal with such subjects as th
 e history of the halakhah\, the nature of rabbinical decision making\, a
 nd issues of medical ethics in Jewish law. He serves as chair of the Res
 ponsa Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis\, which iss
 ues advisory opinions on questions of Jewish practice.\nTemple Emanu-El
