The Westfield Area Y Fall 1 Session runs September 4th
– October 27th. Registration for Gold and Silver individual and family members begins at 6 pm on Thursday, August 16. Members can register online. Open registration for program and new members begins at 7:30 am Monday August 20th.
The Westfield Area Y offers a variety of programs ranging from fitness classes and TRX to aquatics for every age. In addition, the Y offers programs for special health groups. New this session is a Cancer Exercise Program. The goal of this program is to reduce daily fatigue, improve functional strength, teach you to exercise safely based on your specific cancer, improve balance, minimize the effects of lymphedema, and build a support network. There will be a brief nutrition component to each class session.
If you enjoy group exercise, the Y has 34 different and innovative fitness classes including Zumba, Barefoot
Fusion, Cycling, Step, Cardio Kickbox and Hot Yoga. No matter what you’re passionate about, the Y has it for you!

More About Westfield Area YMCA
Located on Clark Street, the Westfield Area YMCA serves as a health and wellness hub for the Westfield community. The Y has facilities and a pool, along with fitness programs for the entire family. The childcare center at the Y is popular with Westfield-area families. Every summer, the Y hosts a camp that offers sports, arts and crafts, field trips and music lessons. The facility serves as host to birthday parties and community meetings, and sponsors various programs for local teens. Through the YMCA organization, the Y hosts the Model United Nations and Model Youth & Government clubs for Westfield High School and Cranford High School.
