Westfield Senior Citizens Housing will host Westfield author, Deanne Hampton, at a book reading and signing for her book "My Look-Like-Me Mommy" on July 13th at 2:30 p.m.
"My Look-Like-Me Mommy" is the story of Zachary, a zebra whose mommy is a hippo, and his discovery that he does not look like his mommy. Throughout their adventure in town, Zachary realizes that love is what makes you family, not what you look like.
Seniors at the home, along with their children and grandchildren, will enjoy the afternoon with this heart-warming story. The event will take place in the front lobby of the Westfield I building. For further information, contact Randi Kass, Recreation Coordinator, at 908/233-5898.
"My Look-Like-Me Mommy" is currently available at the Town Bookstore in Westfield, as well as through Tate Publishing. Public release on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com is scheduled for July 17.
