DESCRIPTION:The Rahway PD along with the Paterson PD are hosting a fundra
 iser for Officer John Donofrio and his family who was injured on June 8\
 , 2012 while on duty.&nbsp\; John was driving his motorcycle in Woodbrid
 ge NJ when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction made a sudden l
 eft turn in front of John causing the  accident that resulted in John be
 ing injured severely. John has  undergone several surgeries to repair in
 ternal injuries and will likely  need more. He also suffered a brain inj
 ury\, but the severity is unknown  at this time. P.O. Dononfrio was rece
 ntly hired by the Rahway Police Dept after being laid off buy the Paters
 on Police Dept. Prior to working for Paterson P.D. John served with the 
 Department of  Corrections at Northern State Prison. John has 9 years of
  total service  with these agencies and has made a lot of friends along 
 the way.\nThis event will take place today at Chris Michael Steakhouse a
 nd Lounge\, 40 Oakwood Avenue\, Woodbridge.&nbsp\; Admission is $50 per 
 person which includes\, food\, one free drink and entertainment\, the ba
 r and cigar lounge will also be open.&nbsp\; All proceeds will go to Off
