1) The Town Council is holding a regular meeting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the Municipal Building. Public comment is welcome at the meeting. 2) The Board of Education is meeting on Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at board headquarters located at 302 Elm Street. 3) The Memorial Library will be closed from Monday to Wednesday for a computer upgrade. 4) The WHS volleyball team will face off against Glen Ridge on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at WHS. 5) The WHS varsity field hockey team will face off against Glen Ridge on Thursday at 4 p.m. at WHS.

The board is expected to pass the new anti-bullying policy on that date. 2) The Town Council is not meeting this week. 3) The final downtown jazz concert of the summer is on Tuesday night starting at 7 p.m. The concerts will be all over downtown. 4) The farmer's market continues Saturday at the south side train station parking lot. 5) This is sadly the final week of summer vacation and of the Memorial Pool being open. 1) Former Councilman Mark Ciarrocca is being sworn-in as a state Superior Court Judge Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Union County Courthouse in Elizabeth. 2) The Recreation Department playground program end of the summer picnic is on Wednesday at Tamaques Park all day. 3) The America in Bloom Judges are in town Monday and Tuesday. 4) There will be a jazz concert downtown on Tuesday night. 5) The Town Council and Board of Education are currently not scheduled to meet this week. Thousands are expected to attend. 3) The Town Council and Board of Education are currently not scheduled to meet this week. 4) There will be jazz concerts downtown on Tuesday evening. 5) The Westfield Community Band will have a concert Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in Mindowaskin Park.

Buses will transport students to and from the venue.
