Only a Liberal like Egert could label Lance as a "right wing extremist"! LOL! TheRead Moredistr ict he represents would never elect a Conservative representative........I lived in that area for 32 years. Lance is another NE RINO that will vote on enough R bills to keep his re-election secure. Egert is another useless Liberal "tool".

I believe that corruption, incompetence and immorality are more dangerous to our country than isRead Moregen erally perceived. Look at our national debt, the IRS and the obvious cover-up, or the results of Obama's foreign policy; or look at the misguided war on Iraq by GWB; or Clinton's immorality and policy that everyone should own a house whether it could be afforded or not. Every issue has had or will have serious consequences. Competent, honest and moral leaders who put country before party are long overdue.

The scary thing is that this woman's vote actually cancels out mine. If I were Janice Kovach IRead Morewoul d be begging this Egert lady who sounds like she's in 3rd grade to not shill for her. If I were Lance I would send this inane rant to every voter in the district and say "These are the people who oppose me. Enough said." Landslide!

Wow...kind of seems inappropriate to bring up a completely unrelated incident on the guy. seemsRead Morelik e a Larry has an agenda. Still don't agree with Mitch and Greg, but come on guy.

Bad idea Mitch. Spaces are available for people patient and willing to walk a block or two. WhenRead Moreit comes to parking people are cheap and lazy. If they have a $50 pass theyll hog the spaces for the day. The spaces in the core should be for shoppers and visitors so a bad place for full day parking permits. The town business workers should park further away and walk a bit. Commuters need proximity to the station - they can walk a bit but remember they're on a schedule so every minute saved is precious - particularly given the longer RVR ride and the crumbling bus service lately prone to massive delays.

I think its a good idea --gives people an option. Honestly, I rarely shop in town because ImRead Moreconstan tly in fear of getting a ticket--30 seconds after the meter runs out. Giving out so many tickets is very bad for business.

Unfortunately many ranch style homes are being knocked down to build two story colonials. PeopleRead Moreth ink they want a center hall colonial, but my friends and acquaintances that have reached ages 50+ tell me they wish they had a ranch as their hurting knees make it difficult to climb stairs. With ranches in Westfield disappearing, they are moving away. As the population ages, ranches are becoming more desirable. For a senior citizen, a moderate size ranch is not only better for the one level living, but the maintenance and taxes are lower. The heating and cooling is also more efficient and lower cost.

Additionally there are some ranches on larger lots that are comparable to a center hall colonial in Read Moreliving area sq ft. Though in the long run purchasing a ranch saves money because it is less to heat and cool and avoids the additional purchase/sale transaction costs of having to move as you age, ironically the colonials have a higher market value than a ranch. Unrealized by the younger purchasers is that one story living is still desirable. Even with better knees, they will soon tire constantly climbing stairs.
