Anonymous- I agree that "historical" homes should be preserved. But, I don't thinkRead Morehist orical homes are being torn down to build new homes. While you may see the homes being knocked down as beautiful, others may have the opposite viewpoint. Some would argue that the majority of these homes are in disrepair and are an eyesore. In many cases they are functionally obsolete, contain environmental hazards (ie. asbestos), and are not energy efficient. It would be more costly to repair and bring them up-to-date than to knock them down and rebuild. Like it or not, many buyers in today's market want move-in ready homes and are unwilling to take on the task of rehabilitating an older home that has exceeded its expiration date.

The petitioners missed one very big issue that contributes to the poor visibility at theRead Moreintersectio n. NJ parking statute 39-4:138 prohibits parking 50 feet from a stop sign and 25 feet from a crosswalk. The Town's no-parking signs are wrongly placed, allowing parking much closer to the intersection. Compare to the intersection of Clark and Cowperthwaite.
