Westfielders Earn Honors at James Madison University, Trinity College

The following James Madison University students have been named to the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester:

Thomas Malley is a freshman whose major is finance.

Lauren Posluszny is a junior whose major is health sciences.

Students who receive dean's list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

James Madison University is a comprehensive university that is part of the statewide system of public higher education in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is the only university in America named for President James Madison. Established March 14, 1908, the university offers programs on the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels with its primary emphasis on the undergraduate student. JMU provides a total education to students - one that has a broad range of the liberal arts as its foundation and encompasses an extensive variety of professional and pre-professional programs, augmented by a multitude of learning experiences outside the classroom.

Elizabeth Driscoll a member of the class of 2015 at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., has received Faculty Honors for the 2012 fall semester.

To earn Faculty Honors, a student must achieve a semester grade point average of at least a 3.667 with no individual letter grade below B-minus.

Founded in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1823, Trinity College (www.trincoll.edu) is an independent, nonsectarian liberal arts college with over 2,200 students from 45 states and 47 countries. It is home to the eighth-oldest chapter of Phi Beta Kappa in the United States.
