Westfield remembers nation's second-longest currently serving senator.

Tuesday evening's death of U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) closed a chapter in American history and has people remembering the nation's second-longest serving senator. Westfield Patch went to the Memorial Pool Wednesday afternoon to talk with residents about their thoughts about Kennedy and his death.

"He was an outstanding man. It is very sad since we don't have a leader in the Senate like him. What he did for the unprivileged and uninsured was good. It is a sad day in America." - Jim Hamway
