A neighbor's tip led to the arrest.

The Westfield Police Department arrested a man for allegedly breaking into a Radley Road residence before 3 p.m. this afternoon.

The suspect, who was apprehended on Shackamaxon Drive, was fleeing the scene in a van, according to Westfield Police Capt. Cliff Auchter. A neighbor's call to alert the WPD led to the arrest.

The suspect had over $7,000 in stolen property in his possession, Auchter said.

As of 4:30 p.m., the suspect was being processed and bail had not yet been set.
