Two Westfield Homes Burglarized Saturday Night
Residents of Manitou Circle and Unami Terrace reported items were taken from their homes.
Two Westfield homes were burglarized Saturday night, according to the Westfield Police Department.
Westfield Police Capt. Cliff Auchter said the incidents, both involving forced entry, occurred on Manitou Circle and Unami Terrace.
It both cases the residents were not at home at the time of the break-ins.
"A resident of Unami Terrace came home and found that the home had been entered," Auchter stated. "A laptop valued at over $800 was taken."
The residents of Manitou Circle believe their home was entered between 8 and 10:30 p.m. Auchter said various jewelry items were taken, valued at over $5,000.
There are no suspects at this time, Auchter said.

Let me guess.... The Westfield PD didn't take any fingerprints. They never do. Its a wonder they catch anybody!

What do you expect from a police department that is running with 9 less officers? But our. Hied has time to spend ten weeks away from the department in Virginia with all expenses paid for y you taxpayers.
