The Week Ahead: Meetings and Commemoration Ceremony

Monday:

The Board of Adjustment will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building

Tuesday:

The Town of Westfield will hold a September 11th commemoration service at 6:30 p.m. at the September 11th Memorial Site at North Avenue and East Broad Street.

The Westfield Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt School cafeteria. The evening's agenda will include a report on the district’s technology initiative as well as a discussion regarding the upcoming bond referendum to be voted on Monday, Sept. 24. 

The Westfield Town Council will meet at 8 p.m. in the Municipal Building. 

Wednesday:

The Westfield Memorial Library will host a two-part resume writing and networking program. “Write the Resume that Gets You the Interview” will take place starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Westfield Parent Teacher Council-Special Education Committee will hold its first meeting of the 2012-2013 school year 7:30 p.m. in the library of Edison Intermediate School

There will be a Planning Board meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building. 

Thursday:

The Anne M. Hale Speaker Series will continue this fall with a talk by Arthur S. Lefkowitz  on “Eyewitness Images from the American Revolution.” The speech is slated for 7 p.m. at Westfield Memorial Library.

Friday: 

The Presbyterian Church in Westfield will host its bible study meeting from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
