Second Time Around, 37 DeForest Ave., the thrift shop operated by the Junior League of Summit, is excited to announce its upcoming Halloween Costume event!
The annual event features gently used adult and children’s costumes, as well as Halloween and Fall housewares and decorations. The event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Shoppers of all ages will be able to find the perfect costume for a night of trick-or-treating or Halloween party!
Costume prices are typically 50% less than full retail cost. The selection will be extensive with plenty of choices for boys and girls, with great buys. Cozy animal costumes for babies, princess costumes, and superhero costumes are just a few examples of the wide selection Second Time Around offers.
Additionally, Second Time Around has received a large donation of girls figure skating outfits that would make wonderful ballerina or princess outfits!
Fall houseware décor will also be featured at the event. “We are pleased to offer an extensive variety of costumes and decorative home items at such affordable prices,” said Junior Leave of Summit President Heather Speas, “When you shop at Second Time Around, you are not only getting a good deal, but you are also supporting the local community.
All of the Shop’s proceeds go directly back to the Junior League and are reinvested in the form of grants and funding for community projects.”
