Save the Date! Girls Night Out Set for Oct. 18th
More than 70 businesses are offering deals and discounts.
Local merchants are gearing up to offer a festive evening of shopping, dining and fun in Downtown Westfield.
Girls' Night Out, organized by the Downtown Westfield Corporation, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18. The first 1,000 attendees to register will receive a complimentary gift.
The spring Girls' Night Out held in April was an overwhelming success with more than 1,500 women registered to attend. While 32 percent were from Westfield, ladies from 135 New Jersey towns and seven other states signed up as well. The evening has become a biannual event that residents and local business owners look forward to, said Sherry Cronin, executive director of the DWC.
"It gets bigger and better every time we do it," Cronin said of the April event.
