The funds were donated by Roosevelt families and staff to support local efforts in helping victims of Hurricane Sandy through the United Fund’s Sandy Relief Program.

Roosevelt Principal, Stewart Carey, acknowledged, “It is the appropriate thing to do; every little bit helps.”
