Open for Business

If you're a local business owner who is open for business post-Hurricane Sandy, please post your info in our comments section below to let readers know.

With so many local businesses still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Westfield Patch is compiling a list of businesses that are open and serving the community. Are you open for business? Email Local Editor Elizabeth Alterman at liz.alterman@patch.com with the name and address of your Westfield business and the hours you’re open, or comment below and add your information.

Power was restored to downtown Westfield in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 4. Prior to that, merchants without power were operating by flashlight and daylight.

Also, please include any special services, products or other information that might be useful to the community. For example, do you have wifi, fresh water, or charging stations? Let us know and we’ll publish it on Patch, in our email newsletter, and on our Facebook page. You can also feel free to post the info directly to the Westfield Patch Facebook Page or Tweet the information to @WestfieldPatch on Twitter.

Thanks Kathleen/Joanne for that info! If any local businesses are offering special services (charging stations, taking donations, free coffee, etc), you can still post it here. Be safe everyone!
