I have no idea what the Board will do tonight but I cannot help but comment that the choice of the evening when the last Presidential debate is to take place seems to me similar to the Board's insistence on a special election for the referendum. It seems to guarantee the least number of people to participate.
The dates of the debates had been set well before the referendum so the choice of this evening to discuss the next step of the Board was wide open for the Board. It could have chosen any night. The Board has chosen to include, along with the normal business of the BOE, the controversial question of what to do about another Bond issue.
I hope the Board members won't be heard to complain that no one showed up at the meeting. I predict the evening was deliberately chosen to effect the results already decided by the majority with as little stated opposing opinions as possible.

Replays of the debates are freely available, so anyone should feel free to attend the BOE meeting tonight and watch the debate another time.
