Below is a list of the town's cuts to crossing guard posts around the community. The cuts were made as part of the town's response to a $2 million budget shortfall in the spring. In addition to the outright cuts, several lunch posts were cut from the budgets along with three reductions in lunch post service.

It would be wonderful if you could include a Google Map populated with
- School locaitons (school icon)
- Remaining crossing guard locations (green icon)
- Cut crossing guard locaitons (red icon)
That way you could help parents make a decision on allowing their child to walk to others' houses for playdates, etc, and maybe show where coverage is lacking.
