Jefferson School is "Buzzing" About Reading! On October 19, third through fifth grade students at Jefferson School in Westfield participated in a celebration of reading as they marked the end of their first unit of reading instruction. Students learned that they are responsible for building their own reading life, and that they can best achieve their individual reading goals by reading, reading, reading "Just Right Books!"

The celebration included students "buzzing" about their favorite book picks with other readers throughout the building. The festive atmosphere was an accurate reflection of the enthusiasm these students have generated towards reading throughout the launch of their new curriculum.
