How Many Debates Should Westfield Mayor Candidates Have?

Most questioned want more than one debate.

As the summer comes to a close, the mayor's race will take more of a front seat. One issue which has been discussed in terms of the race has been the issue of how many debates should occur between the two mayoral candidates. Democratic nominee Bill Brennan has been calling for multiple debates, insisting on at least four. Republican incumbent Andy Skibitsky has said he favors the one debate traditionally held in the fall by the League of Women Voters. Westfield Patch talked with concert-goers at the jazz concerts Tuesday evening to see how many times they want to see Skibitsky and Brennan face off.
