Thomas C. Jardim, Richard S. Meisner, and Bennet Susser are pleased to announce the launch of their new law firm: Jardim, Meisner & Susser, P.C., located at 30B Vreeland Road in Florham Park, and operating a website at www.jmslawyers.com

Jardim, Meisner & Susser, P.C. specializes in litigation and corporate matters, focusing on employment and benefits law, construction litigation, ERISA counseling and litigation, products liability defense, insurance matters, commercial and corporate litigation, collection matters, and general representation of executives, physicians and medical providers, automobile dealerships and franchisees.

The new law firm combines the experience, expertise, and talent of three well-seasoned attorneys who each have over twenty years’ experience in the practice of law, and who are able to service clients in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.

Mr. Jardim, who lives in Westfield, is a litigator and trial attorney. A graduate of the University of Richmond, he received his law degree in 1993 from American University’s Washington College of Law. He also an M.A. in Foreign Affairs, with honors, from American University, in 1994.

Mr. Jardim previously served two terms as Westfield’s mayor, winning election in 1996 and again in 1998. 

Mr. Meisner resides in Milburn. He has enjoyed a distinguished legal career that has focused on corporate law, executive compensation, employee benefits, franchising, and employment law.  Mr. Meisner has special expertise representing benefit plan participants in ERISA matters.

A graduate of Cornell University, he received his law degree from Rutgers University in 1993 and also holds an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.  Mr. Meisner previously worked in-house as a senior legal officer for Cendant Corporation and Realogy Corporation, and was also associated with prestigious law firms Skadden Arps in New York, and Lowenstein Sandler in New Jersey.

Bennet Susser is a resident of Livingston. He is experienced in all aspects of product liability practice, having served as national counsel for several mass tort and toxic tort litigations. He also has developed a significant diverse litigation practice, including in the areas of complex commercial, contract, and corporate litigation and insurance and collection matters. He graduated from Bernard M. Baruch College in 1984 with a degree in accounting, winning magna cum laude distinction, and three years later he received his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, again with honors.
