Please use some discretion when you decide to use a "breaking news alert"..... The Patch website can and has performed as a needed source of information, but you are about to lose any credibility with your readership.

"Breaking News" implies it's something that requires the reader's immediate attention. Sorry, this story just doesn't measure up to its hype. YOU are wrong, Patch.

Is it ironic "Stop Complaining So Much" has the most complaining posts. Shut up and go away, the comments section doesn't need a mommy.

Believe me, JayJay is right. Most of us just haven't bothered to take the time to respond to your posts, but you are annoying. This is NOT Breaking News. The Patch should try to hold on to what little credibility it has left.

This story was sent county-wide as "breaking news" in error. The staff member who accidentally marked it as such regrets the error, especially in light of recent events.

No need for the staff member to beat him or herself up over this. It seems that it's not possible to have any "sense of proportion" in an internet world. Not having a sense of proportion would seem to be a sign of psychological problems. It's not a big deal, and the "recent events" don't change that.
