Concert, Loughlin Speech Mark Westfield's Pre-Fourth of July Festivities
Annual tradition includes patriotic music from the Westfield Community Band.
Patriotic spirit invaded Mindowaskin Park Thursday night as the annual pre-Fourth of July concert from the Westfield Community Band drew crowds.
The annual concert, the town's traditional Fourth of July festivity, included a score of patriotic selections from throughout history, along with the traditional speech. Councilman Keith Loughlin delivered the address, focusing on the spirit of America and Westfield.
