DeAngelo, '85, Principal of Saint Peter's Prep in Jersey City, has announced that the following students were awarded an Honor Pin for achieving an average of B+ or higher in both semesters of the 2011-2012 school year, with no individual grade lower than a B.Fanwood: Daniel Harcourt, '15. Mountainside:  Andrew Dellachiaie, '15.Scotch Plains: Matthew Giardiello, '14, Kyle Krutis, '14, Joseph Ponterdolph, '14, Alex Sabatell, '14, Peter Tomljanovic, '14.Westfield: Joseph Burke, '13, William Lavelle, '13, Kevin Mikovits, '13, James Reynolds, '13, Tyler Schiavo, '13, Nicholas Angeli, '14, Conor Finn, '14, Emmet Flanigan, '14, Conor Gelson, '14, Sean Mullman, '14, Ryan Harrington, '15, Christopher Lee, '15, Joseph Manganello, '15.James Reynolds of Westfield was named a National Hispanic Scholar. William Lavelle of Westfield won the Gold Medal in History and the Gold Medal in French II. Douglas Tortorici of Plainfield won the Gold Medal for Religion. Clark Burnett won the Gold Medal in Religion 1 and the Gold Medal in English 1. Kevin Mikovits of Westfield won the Gold Medal in Spanish Honors.
